Reopening & Staying Connected

This month marks 12 whole months since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic. It’s hard to believe that a year has passed since the world started sanitizing, social distancing, and masking up while we all watched the numbers rise on the news. It has been scary at times, and many have been less fortunate than others; however, in March of 2021, it feels like we are finally turning a corner. This could be the beginning of the end of COVID-19!

Now that the number of cases in Ohio has dropped and people are getting vaccinated, Country Court is ecstatic to announce that residents can resume in-person visits with their families. As of now, they may be held every day of the week from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. This is fantastic news for our skilled nursing center residents, some of whom received a few virtual visits!

We have been setting up video chat meetings recently, which will likely continue. After all, our residents are some of the highest-risk people regarding infection. Virtual meetings are still an excellent choice for those wanting to play it safe until the pandemic is over. For others, the smile on their faces when they finally got to see their loved ones again was a sight to be seen, and we are excited to watch these relationships take off again.

Until it is safe for all of us to meet without restriction, Country Court wishes you a very safe and healthy spring. To schedule an in-person visit here, please call Heather (ext. 3500) or Sandy at (740) 397-4125! See you soon!
