Asked when leaving KCH where i wanted to go for re-hab after hip surgery, i asked KCH if there was a place owned by the Levering family. My doctor asked why and I told him that the Levering family owned Morrow Manor in Chesterville. My Mother lived ther just a little over a year before she passed away and she LOVED being there. Everyone was so nice, friendly, caring, helpful and treated the residents like their own family. I saw it as did everyone who visited her. That was enough for me. Everyone here at Country Court is just the same loving and caring people at Morrow Manor. As far back as a childhood memory, Bruce Levering began in the health care business and his family has followed suite.
All the staff from the cleaning room crew those who got the residents cleaned up or showered, filled ice water and snacks, to those who delivered and picked up our food, those that just stopped in to chat, all the PT staff right on up to the wonderful nursing staff they have right up to the nurse practioner. Checking in and getting settled was so easy with everyone helping. My roomie was a real sweetheart and we shared many chuckles together. The worse part? Getting ready to leave. The nurses who helped get me ready shared hugs and even some tears with me. The reason I left so soon, my insurance booted me out! Actual leaving, my favorite nurse with the “south side of Mt. Vernon accent” hugged me and we cried a little, my roomie, too. So sad to leave new friends so fast.
Since I’ve been home getting PT, I’ve had 2 phone calls from Country Court to see how I was getting along. What more can be said. I loved being here and choose to come back if I ever need re-hab again.
